Alpharex Headlight Colors: What's the Difference?

Given the many automobiles their products fit, Alpharex has many options and has been in the headlight business for a while. OEM-level fitting assemblies that are simple to install are available. Additionally, you will discover that a large number of their housings are available with various color trims.

Alpharex has three color trim options for its headlamp assemblies. The headlights have a finish applied to the inside. There are three colors: jet black, chrome, and black. However, what distinguishes the three, and which one should you purchase?

ABOUT ALPHA REX

With over two decades of manufacturing experience, Alpharex is a prominent player in the production of complete headlamp assemblies. Additionally, their headlights are among the few that are actually DOT and SAE-certified, which means that they are safe to use on public roads.

Additionally, these assemblies are plug-and-play, which simplifies the installation procedure. They have outperformed the competitors in our tests. The whole test we performed on several Ford F-150/Raptor headlights is shown below.

COLOR OPTIONS

Black

Let's start with the black housing. This one's matte black finish makes the headlights appear brighter without detracting from other parts of the vehicle. Though subtle, it is hardly inconspicuous.

In certain instances, the projector shrouds will also be enclosed by the black housing. For instance, the shrouds of this F150 headlamp are matte black. They have chrome shrouds on their Toyota 4Runner. This feature varies according to the headlight model, but the matte-finished backdrop is always there.

Chrome

Alpharex pushes the chrome to its limit with the chrome-finished variant. The interior of the headlight, including the backing, bezels, and shrouds, is entirely chrome-finished. It's really beautifully done and crazy.

Jet Black

This one confounds people a little. Though the names are a little unclear, "black" and "jet black" are distinct. The headlamp with the "jet black" finish has a glossy black background. If your car has a darker color, it blends in more. The housing that is "black" has a matte surface.

Similar to several of the Morimoto and GTR Lighting housings, this one is one of our favorites.

This should allay any worries you may have had about Alpharex and its LED headlight assembly. Check out Alpharex's website to learn more about their many headlamp styles and the process that goes into creating their assortment of colors.
